Money, Gold & XP

Participating in all Roles will give you the most Money. Gold comes with any Mission pay out, Bounty Hunting, Daily Challenges and resetting Awards.

Money

Play the "A Land of Opportunities" missions.
Hunt animals and sell carcasses and pelts to Gus Macmillan or a Butcher.
As a Trader, donate your hunt to Cripps and make local or long distance deliveries.
Make the most valuable Moonshine and make your deliveries to the most paying buyer.
Sell sets of collectibles to Madam Nazar as you are a Collector.
Sample animals as a Naturalist and sell full sample sets to Harriet Davenport.
Loot dead NPCs where you encounter them.
Sell looted or received valuable items to a fence.

Buy Gold in the Rockstar Games Shop.
Activate 2-Step-Verification for your Rockstar Games Account and receive 10 Gold within 72 hours.
Free Roam Missions reward you Gold equal to Bounty Hunter missions.
Replay Story Missions and Moonshiner Missions.
Participate in Free Roam Events.
Complete Daily Challenges for 28 days to receive the maximum Gold pay out.
Reset Awards to earn 0.4 Gold. You can reset several Awards up to ten times.

All Missions and activities reward you with XP.
Without being a Collector you can collect items like flowers, tarot cards, jewelry, bottles, bird eggs and heirlooms to receive XP.
Join or form a posse and participate in missions and trader or moonshiner deliveries.

Kill (Free Aim)	20 XP	Perform a kill with the "Free Aim" option activated.
Eyes Wide Shut	10 XP	Perform a kill without aiming.
Execution	10 XP	Perform an execution (close range attack without aiming).
Meele	10 XP	Perform a kill using a melee weapon or your bare hands.
Road Kill	10 XP	Perform a kill by running an enemy over using a horse, a wagon or a train.
Dead Eye	5 XP	Perform a kill using the Dead Eye.
Death Rider	5 XP	Perform a kill using a weapon while you are riding a horse.
Distance	5 XP	Perform a kill when an enemy is out of your weapon range.
Saddle Score	5 XP	Perform a kill when an enemy is riding a horse.
Hat Shot	5 XP	Shot off an enemy's hat.
Headshot	5 XP	Perform a headshot.
Kill	5 XP	Perform a kill.
Knockout	5 XP	Knock out an enemy instead of performing a kill.
Last Chance	5 XP	Perform a kill with the last bullet.
Disarm	5 XP	Disarm an enemy by shooting at the hand or the gun.
Merciless	5 XP	Perform a kill while an enemy is hogtied.
Special Ammo	5 XP	Perform a kill using a special ammo.
Note: The bonuses are only given as you fight a hostile player or NPC enemy. All other kind of kills don't count.
