Become A Collector

Go to the yellow 'Become a Collector' marker showing an 'X' or select "Online - Collector" when starting the game. You will then spawn next to Madam Nazar. Purchase the Collector's Bag for 15 gold. If you don't have enough gold, you can always return to Madam Nazar to purchase the Collector's Bag later. Madam Nazar will daily spawn at another location at 06:00 UTC/GMT and must be found again if you want to speak with her.

Bonuses And Tokens

You earn Role XP and Game XP as you complete Collector activities. Role XP counts towards your progression through the 20 Role ranks. You will reach a new tier of distinction every 5 ranks: Novice, Promising, Established and Distinguished.

Unlocking a Role Rank (2,000 XP) earns Role Tokens (two Tokens per level) and at certain ranks you'll unlock new skills. Each tier has a kit of items that are unique to the Collector Role and can be unlocked to purchase using Role Tokens.

Progression will unlock items and skills.

Collectibles Spawn Cycles

Collectibles spawn in cycles every 24 hours at 0:00 UTC time. There are 6 different cycles for each category, and each category can be in a different cycle. Cycles are semi-random. As you collect an item, you have to wait till the new cycle starts to be able to collect that item again.

Arrowheads, Coins, Fossils, and most Jewelry items spawn random and do not have static spawn locations. What item you get from a spot will be completely random with no way to tell which item you're going to get. If two people were digging in the same spot, they will get 2 different items. Wild Flowers, Tarot Cards, Alcohol Bottles, Bird Eggs and Family Heirlooms have static spawn locations.

Pre Collecting

Worst case, you wander around aimlessly, searching for valuable items. Your controller would sometimes vibrate; you would see an orange glow or hear a chime.

To find items like Fossils or Arrowheads, you need a metal detector. To dig buried items you need a shovel. Both you can buy at Madam Nazar.

The Collector Maps you can buy at Madam Nazar will only get you to the locations of the dig site; they will not guarantee you a specific item. Additional, it can happen that the maps do not work and show you a message "This map is unable to locate any collectibles at this time".

Collecting

You start collecting equipped with a shovel and the map of your choice. Your goal should be to collect and sell complete sets. For each collected item, you receive Role XP and Game XP. Your first goal could be reaching Collector Rank 5 to be able to buy the metal detector. As you're near a collectible, you will see the collector icon beside the context-prompt on the right bottom screen. Collectibles will glow orange while Eagle Eye is active.

After purchasing a map from Madam Nazar, open your bag, go to "Documents", then open "Collector's Maps", and open the map you just bought. On your in-game map, you will see three yellow dots with a treasure map symbol. Go to these dots and search for the items. Once you find the third item, the message "You have obtained all the items marked on your Collector's Map. You can purchase more Collector's Maps from Madam Nazar" will appear. You can now return to Madam Nazar and purchase a new map. Alternatively you could usa a 3rd Party Map which shows all locations of valuable collectibles.

The Wildflowers "Agarita" and "Bloodflower" spawn only between 10pm and 5am in-game time. Make sure you are not to close to the location, otherwise the flowers will not spawn. As the two flowers don't spawn at all, change your lobby (Pause Menu - Online - Free Roam).

Per cycle you can collect, as an example, three sets of flowers (9 flowers per set), what rewards you after selling with $466.50 and 8550 Rank/Game XP. Collecting and selling a set of bottles (9 bottles per set) rewards you with $160.50 and 2850 Rank/Game XP. After selling three sets of Flowers and one set of Bottles, you reach 10.000 Rank XP, Collector Level 5, and you are able to buy the metal detector.

You need the Metal Detector to find Arrowheads, Coins and Fossils. It is also required for finding certain Family Heirlooms and Jewelry. The Metal Detector looks familiar to the Lantern. It has a metallic base and a glass dome with a lightbulb that is energized by a ring on the bottom, which sparks and starts turning once you are close to an item underground. The lightbulb on the top blinks in intervals with said speed depending on how far/close you are to the item.

Selling Collectibles

You can sell your collections directly to Madam Nazar or send it to her via any Post Office. Single Items you can only sell directly to her. All sold sets reward you 1500 Rank and Game XP. After reaching Rank 20 as a Collector you receive only Game XP for collecting and selling items and sets.

⁽⁵⁾ Braxton Amethyst Necklace can be used for Snowy Egret Trinket, Dane Topaz Necklace can be used for Buck Antler Trinket.
⁽⁶⁾ Aubrey Onyx Ring can be used for Ram Horn Trinket.

Weekly Collections

Madam Nazar is weekly on tuesdays looking for three items. Find all the items and sell the complete collection to Madam Nazar for an XP and RDO$ reward.

Collectibles Sets

Agarita and Blood Flower only spawn at night (from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM).
