Series

Enter a series and compete against others by using a Series Marker or through the Player Menu. You are rewarded with RDO$, Gold, and XP based on the length of the match and whether your team wins or loses.

Takeover Series

Team objective-oriented PvP modes. Armed with only Throwing Knifes and Shotguns work in teams to capture and control as many territories as possible.

Shootout Series

Kill other players to rise up the leaderboard; the higher you get, the more points you're worth. Each player's value is based on their position on the scoreboard. Kill a player to earn their value in points.

Featured Series

A featured mode or modes that Rockstar chooses and changes on a regular basis, involving a limited-time mode.

Elimination Series

You get only one life, and everything depends on how you use it. Use nothing but a handfull of throwing knifes or a bow and arrows to be the last one standing in 'Make It Count'. With a gradually shrinking player area, there’s nowhere to run.

Race Series

Compete on horseback in a variety of different racing modes, from the customary point to point and lap races across the map to target shooting while riding in Target Race variations.

Standard and Open Races

Point to point and lap races are a true test of your horse-riding skills. Start without any weapons or ammunition, then pick them up along the way to take down your competition. If going off the beaten path is more your style, check out the Open Race where you will compete to be the first to ride through all the signal fires in any order you choose.

Target Races

Shoot targets while on horseback to pass checkpoints in a race to be first to finish. All players start out with a bow and arrow – as you race, each target you hit will increase your Horse’s Stamina – but you can also take advantage of strategic pickups along the way. In an Open Target Race, you compete in an open space to take out all targets then race to the finish. You’re free to shoot targets in any order you wish, just keep an eye on how quickly your competition is knocking out targets and use the mini-map to know which target to hit next.
